Tank Barge Operating Authority
The Coast Guard Salvage and Marine Firefighting Regulations require tank vessel owners to contract for salvage and marine firefighting services and update their Vessel Response Plans (VRPs) accordingly by February 22, 2011. Canal Barge Company tank barges are in compliance with these regulations.
